The bathroom renovation in this circa WW2 red brick and tile bungalow in Beverly Hills is possibly one of our greatest transformations.
The outcome of this on-trend bathroom renovation was extraordinary. It was always going to be the backdrop for the owners macramé business @macramewonderlandau providing her with a place to showcase some of her beautiful works. As a result, the colours and choice of materials were carefully considered. The Abode team were able to source and match products to the owner’s vision from those displayed in our renovation showroom and from our cache of bathroom suppliers.
The semi-custom designed vanity* and shaving cabinet are from the Timberline range of Australian-made products. The tapware, accessories and bath from Cee Jay Bathroomware range. The toilet is from Fienza.
Our local joinery carpenter custom-built the wall shelves to match the vanity.
As part of the trade works, we replaced the old windows with maintenance-free, white aluminium framed windows. Aluminium windows are a perfect choice for bathrooms as they are resistant to moisture and water damage and won’t ever require painting.
The warm, natural wood tones, paired with the sage green feature tile from Fina Ceramics and white wall tiles, created the base of this tranquil, light-filled sanctuary.
The styling is obviously something special with the perfect mix of plants, shells and cotton towels. And finally, the macramé light fitting and hanging planters completed the look.
As the photos attest, you couldn’t help but love this space each and every time you go in.
