A modern mobility bathroom renovation in Rockdale

The double vanity with lots of storage and easy-reach cupboards.

When this couple downsized from their large family home  to a unit in Rockdale, the brief was simple:
A clean, modern bathroom design with plenty of storage. Bathroom accessibility had to be considered with the addition of mobility accessories – subtly, of course.

We started with a clean, white palette which provides a blank canvas for some fun & bright towels and accessories that can be changed every season, depending on the client’s mood.

White bathrooms are classic and really do stand the test of time.

Easy-grip mobility handrails added beside the toilet and in the shower

The 1800mm ADP ‘Emporia’ slimline double vanity with cherry pie top and unity under-mount basins, provides four large, easy to access drawers with plenty of room to hold all the customer’s bathroom items. Much more useful than ‘hard to reach’ areas of cupboards that you need to bend down to.

The large vanity is not overbearing in the space due to the slim cabinet height and the fact that it is wall hung, also makes swishing a mop about super easy.

We removed the bath, which instantly gave more space whilst creating fewer obstacles.

The ADP ‘Emporia’ tallboy sits neatly next to the low maintenance walk-in shower for yet more storage, often needed in a unit. All the tapware by Fienza.

Overall the customers were thrilled with their easy to clean, easy access, fresh new bathroom for this new stage of their lives.

The toilet roll holder doubles as a subtle handrail.
